Welcome to the LCFL! Legendary entertainer and philanthropist Patti LaBelle endorses this league, which launched in the fall of 2003. Other league supporters include NFL football player and NBC anchor Maurice Spencer, Ray Lewis of the Baltimore Ravens, Bobby Taylor of the Seattle Seahawks, Terrell Owens & Donovan McNabb of the Philadelphia Eagles, and Stephen Davis of the Carolina Panthers. These NFL greats support the LCFL, and are currently working together to create a minor league community football system along the East Coast. With Philadelphia as the Mecca, the league will establish regions throughout the Western United States and the Southern California area. The LCFL hopes to become a nationwide organization that helps empower its players, and give positive representation to their communities. The LCFL has established two additional regions - California representing the West, and Atlanta, Georgia representing the South. The league is now working to establish a Southwest region in Houston, Texas.
